"An immersive, hands-on experience in research can transform a student's life. It often is the critical event that can set a student down a path of lifelong passion and commitment to scientific discovery."

The Coastal Georgia Marine Ecology Fund provides the resources for continued immersive research experiences for students and assists in furthering the study of invasive species, shellfish health, marine parasites and disturbances to coastal habitats.

With your help, students are able to dive head-first into research, developing methods, ideas and techniques to address pressing ecological issues. Thank you for your support.
